Churchill show thespian George Maina popularly known as Njoro has finally opened up and explained his battle with depression and how he attempted to commit suicide.
This solely came after his counterpart colleague Zeddy resorted to intervene following a recent trend that has seen talented comedians and actors dies of depression.
Njoro explained how life has been a bedrock to him and things seemed to be at a standstill to the extend that he was forced to move back to his parents’ house.
Reports from the comedian indicate that he was attempted to take off his life. He chided that his father Mr. Maina had been diagnosed with stomach cancer and this quickly affected his work schedule bringing much pressure.
“When you lose everything, you also end up losing the people you used to call your friends” he stated
“I have tried to take my own life three times but some miracles happened in all my attempts. It must be God’s plan but truth be told, i’m not well” he cried.
It has been revealed that he tried to take off his life between October to December last year, where he made the attempt to take his life away by driving a car off a cliff.
He was however saved by a truck who saw him praying inside his car, parked nearby.
The second time he made unsuccessful attempts using a rat poison.
“While I was done with my prayer, I stepped on the gas but the car didn’t move” he narrated.
Zeddy resorted to bring the challenges that comedians were subjected to, through her Instagram account.
She attributed the recent deaths of comedians to frustrations by producer Victor Ber. This evolved after the death of Kasee who was spotted dead along the road. Kasee was the third comedian on the count to have thrilled off his life.
